My Favorite Peach Tea Recipe

By Marcella S. Meeks

I always start with a fresh warm gallon of sweet tea. Then I add my sliced raw peaches with the skin on to my tea and then sit it in the refrigerator. After a few hours the peaches have absorbed the tea and the peach flavor has spread throughout the jug of tea. Serve on ice! Delicious..

SUN TEA

By Marcella S. Meeks

Back in th eighties, I always brewed my tea out in the sun if it were possible. I’d take a gallon of water in a clear glass jug, and three family size tea bags. I’d find the sunniest place in the yeard with direct sunlight and let my tea sit out tere all day. At dinnertime, I’d add my sugar and ice and have a perfect glass of sun tea every time.

Pineapple Kool-Aid

By Marcella S. Meeks

Back in the eighties, thee was another all time favorite beverage at our house. The kids loved it as much as we did.

Make a fresh picture of kool-aid and add sugar. Take a can of crushed pineappe and dump in the picture and let sit awhile. Serve on ice. A delicious Hawaiian-type drink!
